UTM Link Builder

Build campaign tracking URLs with UTM parameters for analytics.

Build a trackable campaign URL by adding UTM parameters to any link. UTM tags tell Google Analytics (and most other analytics tools) exactly where a click came from — which newsletter, ad, or social post — so you can measure what is actually working. Enter your destination URL, fill in the campaign fields, and copy the finished tracking link. Everything is assembled in your browser.

How to use the UTM Link Builder

  1. Paste the destination URL (where the visitor should land).
  2. Fill in at least Source and Medium — for example newsletter and email.
  3. Add a campaign name, and optionally term and content, then copy the built URL.

Frequently asked questions

What do source, medium and campaign mean?

Source is where the traffic comes from (e.g. newsletter, google), medium is the channel type (email, cpc, social), and campaign is the specific promotion name (e.g. summer_sale).

Which fields are required?

Analytics tools generally expect at least utm_source and utm_medium. Campaign, term and content are optional but useful for finer breakdowns.

Does it work with an existing query string?

Yes. If your URL already has parameters, the UTM tags are added alongside them without overwriting the others.
